Our history

A long, long time ago...

A long, long time ago, over 25 years ago to be precise, a little dog was born in a small country called Austria. As fate would have it, he soon got to know his master. The dog, or as they say in Spanish "un PERRO", immediately fell in love with his master. What the man didn't realise at the time was that this little dog would change his whole life.

Vento like the wind...

And so it was that the little whirlwind came into the man's life. He called him Vento. Vento like the wind! And as the old saying goes: "Every wind shows us who we are." The little one took the man's heart by storm. It wasn't just a dog to him, it was his best friend. He decided to move mountains to get the little one the stars from the sky. Only what was enough for him was just right for his best friend.

Pet food in Austrian food quality....

So he set out in search of pet food of Austrian food quality. It had to be healthy, contain no sugar and contain all the important nutrients for the little one to grow and thrive. But the man soon realised that there was nothing like this on the market. Many sleepless nights passed.... But one morning it seemed crystal clear to him. He had taken responsibility for the little one and he would only settle for the best for his best friend.

For his friend....

He quit his job and turned to his destiny. He did what he loved, for his little friend whom he loved . And so he decided to make the best pet food for his best friend. He brought the most respected vets and nutritionists to the table and developed the first food line in close co-operation . Always with the knowledge that only the best was good enough.

And their friends....

The little one grew and so did his needs. The man realised that just like us humans, every dog has individual needs, preferences and intolerances. Every dog is its owner's best friend and every dog deserves to have the stars brought out of the sky and to have its individual needs catered for - be it with grain-free, selective, gluten-free or super moist pet food.

He does what he loves....

So he does what he loves - for his best friend and the many, many dogs out there that he loves. He develops pet food that is individually tailored to the dog's needs. Always with the knowledge that only the best is good enough.
