The adorable BALLERINA pants for dogs in heat are suitable for female dogs during heat. They not only protect furnishings, textiles and carpets from unwanted stains, but also from urine stains from incontinent dogs.
The attractive dog protection pants feature a comfortable and particularly wide waistband that can be easily closed with a practical Velcro fastener. This allows the hygiene pants to be opened on both sides, making putting them on a breeze. The tail opening is sized to keep the pants in place while still guaranteeing optimal freedom of movement for the tail.
Inside the dog nappy is a mesh pocket. This is filled with a disposable sanitary napkin or a handkerchief.
The neat dog nappy is made of pleasant and quick-drying softshell material. The pretty dog diaper can be washed at 30° (hand wash) and dries particularly quickly.

Tips for use:

Get your dog used to the protective trousers before his first heat.
Place a disposable hygienic wipe or paper towel in the inside pocket.
Open the Velcro on both sides to put them on.
Place the tail in the recess.
Now close the Velcro at the waist.

What does the heat mean?

The heat of the female dog is also called the season of heat and is the fertile phase (oestrus phase) of the sexual cycle. From the first heat, the female dog is sexually mature. This time depends on the breed of the bitch.
The first signs of being in heat are an increased need to mark and an increased interest in the scent marks of other dogs. The urine of a female dog indicates to the male dog the correct time for mating. This is around the 7-21 day of heat, depending on female dog.
The heat usually lasts 3 - 4 weeks and is repeated after 6 - 8 months, depending on the dog and breed. The heat phase lasts until old age, but usually becomes weaker and less frequent.
