Fütterungsempfehlung

Zum Ausgleich des Phosphorüberschusses in Frischfleisch werden je 500 g Fleisch folgende Mengen empfohlen:
Rindfleisch (mager), Rinderherz, Truthahnfleisch: ca. 3,5 g
Rinderkopffleisch, Pferdefleisch: ca. 3 g
Rinderpansen: ca. 0,75 g

½ Teelöffel entspricht ca. 2,7 g.

Die angegebenen Mengen dienen ausschließlich dazu, den Phosphorüberschuss in rohem Fleisch auszugleichen. Der tägliche Kalziumbedarf beträgt etwa 50–90 mg je kg Körpergewicht. Trächtige und säugende Hündinnen sowie Welpen im Wachstum haben einen erhöhten Bedarf von bis zu 180 mg Kalzium je kg Körpergewicht.

1 g Algenkalk liefert ca. 330 mg Kalzium.

A home-prepared BARF diet offers a great deal of freedom – but at the same time, minerals such as calcium must be appropriately balanced with the other ingredients in the diet.

cdVet Fit-BARF Algae Limestone is a naturally pure, single-ingredient feed in powder form for dogs and cats. It is suitable for use as an individual supplement to fresh meat diets and helps to balance out the excess phosphorus that needs to be taken into account when feeding a raw diet.

The seaweed lime is derived from Lithothamnium calcareum, a naturally red stonewort that takes on its characteristic white colour during the drying process. It has a high natural content of calcium and trace elements. With 32.9% calcium, this finely ground powder offers an effective way to supplement individual calcium requirements as part of a balanced diet.

Calcium helps maintain healthy bones and is important for their mineralisation and bone density. Particularly with meat-based meals, which naturally contain more phosphorus than calcium, Fit-BARF Algae Lime enables a targeted adjustment of mineral intake – giving you peace of mind that you’re keeping an eye on important details when putting together your own diet.

The simple formulation, consisting of 100% carbonated seaweed lime, contains no other ingredients. The powder can be easily mixed into the daily meal and dosed according to the type of meat used and the total feed ration.
