It is particularly suitable for animals with increased energy requirements, those that do not utilise their food efficiently, and severely underweight dogs and cats. 

The composition has been deliberately kept simple: 100% pure beef fat with 100% crude fat. Animal fat provides the body with concentrated energy. 

If very lean meat is fed on a long-term basis, the body may increasingly use protein for energy production. This produces waste products that must be excreted via the liver and kidneys. A fat supplement tailored to the animal’s needs can therefore help to ensure an appropriate energy supply in a meat-based diet.
