A balanced diet relies on carefully selected ingredients that bring variety to the bowl and sensibly complement the animal-based portion. cdVet Fit-BARF Vegetables (TCVM) is a supplementary feed for dogs and cats, offering a grain- and gluten-free vegetable component for individually prepared meals (home-cooked, BARF or Premium Pur tins). 

This varied blend is based on the fundamental principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and takes into account not only the nutrients it contains but also the energetic properties of the ingredients used.
According to this concept, ingredients are categorised, amongst other things, based on their thermal properties and the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, beetroot and linseeds are each assigned to different functional groups, combining the traditional approach with their nutritional properties. The result is a special BARF vegetable mix for pet owners who wish to create a conscious and varied diet for their dog or cat. 

Jerusalem artichokes are a natural source of inulin, as well as various vitamins, minerals and trace elements. According to the manufacturer, the tuber can therefore support normal digestive function without placing an unnecessary strain on sugar metabolism.
Carrots complement the recipe with, amongst other things, carotene, biotin, minerals and vitamins, whilst beetroot contributes natural B vitamins, potassium, folic acid and iron.
Linseed contains mucilage and fibre, as well as vegetable oils, protein, alpha-linolenic acid, linoleic acid and lecithin. Together with parsnips, broccoli, celery, pumpkin, carrot pulp and elm bark, this creates a versatile blend that can replace the usual vegetable portion in a BARF diet plan.
