Fütterungsempfehlung

1 g Eierschalenpulver liefert rund 370 mg Kalzium. Der tägliche Kalziumbedarf beträgt etwa 50–90 mg je kg Körpergewicht. Bei trächtigen oder säugenden Hündinnen sowie heranwachsenden Welpen kann sich der Bedarf auf bis zu 180 mg Kalzium pro kg Körpergewicht erhöhen. Werden zusätzlich Knochen gefüttert, sollte die empfohlene Dosierung entsprechend angepasst bzw. reduziert werden.

Anyone who prepares their pet’s meals themselves wants not only to feed them carefully selected ingredients, but also to keep a responsible eye on their mineral intake. Singulares Extra-Fine Eggshell Powder is a naturally pure, single-ingredient feed in powder form for dogs and cats. It is particularly suitable for supplementing BARF diets, home-cooked meals and a bone-free diet.

Meat is naturally high in phosphorus but low in calcium. The eggshell powder provides around 37.1% natural calcium and can help to balance the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio in a customised diet to meet your pet’s specific needs. Calcium is required, amongst other things, for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, as well as for normal muscle and nerve function. 

This particularly simple formula consists of 100% pure eggshell powder with no other additives. Thanks to its extra-fine grind, the powder can be mixed evenly into the food and integrated precisely into the diet. This provides your dog or cat with a specifically selected source of calcium without the need to feed them bones – giving you peace of mind that you’re ensuring a well-balanced diet, even with home-prepared meals.

Eggshell powder can also form part of an individually calculated diet for growing female dogss and cats, as well as for pregnant or nursing s and cats. As calcium requirements depend on the life stage and the overall diet, the amount used should always be adjusted to take into account any bones, mineral supplements and other sources of calcium already present.
