The cdVet VeaVet Wound Cleanser is a ready-to-use solution for gentle cleaning and rinsing of the wound area. It can be sprayed on or used directly for rinsing, making it a practical essential for your pet’s care. 

What can the VeaVet Wound Cleanser be used for?

The cleansing solution is particularly suitable for superficial, soiled or slightly sore areas of skin. Rinsing removes dirt and superficial impurities before a suitable care product is applied or further treatment is carried out. As the solution is ready to use, you don’t need to dilute or prepare it. This makes the wound cleanser a handy companion for use at home, on the go and when travelling. 

What makes the formula special?

The VeaVet Wound Cleanser consists of sodium-containing, electrolytically and energetically treated water. The deliberately minimalist formulation contains no surfactants, colourings, fragrances, preservatives or petrochemical ingredients. As the solution is also free from fats and oils, it leaves no oily film on the skin or coat. This ensures the affected area is thoroughly cleaned in preparation for subsequent care.

How is the wound cleanser used?

Spray or rinse the affected area of skin carefully with the solution as required. The treatment can be repeated several times a day if necessary. Avoid applying unnecessary pressure or rubbing too hard, particularly if the skin is sensitive.

When should the affected area be examined by a vet?

VeaVet Wound Cleanser is a care product for external cleansing and is not a substitute for veterinary care. Deep, gaping, heavily bleeding, very painful or clearly inflamed areas of skin, as well as bite wounds, should be assessed by a vet.
