Thanks to the innovative vacuum coating process, vitamins and nutrients are preserved for longer. The gluten- and grain-free recipe, based on easily digestible herring, duck, venison or quail, does not contain traditional carbohydrate sources such as rice or potato, but instead relies on quinoa. Furthermore, the dry food contains only one source of animal protein.
Quinoa is an excellent source of essential amino acids such as lysine, tryptophan and cystine, and provides polyunsaturated fatty acids. Quinoa also has a very high mineral content. Magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium, in particular, occur naturally in this so-called pseudo-grain. Coconut is also rich in minerals, particularly magnesium, iron, sodium and selenium, as well as B vitamins. Turmeric is considered to be energising and cleansing. In Ayurvedic medicine, this yellow spice is primarily used to strengthen the immune system. The combination of these select ingredients ensures a shiny and healthy coat. Chondroitin and glucosamine ensure strong joints, tendons and cartilage.
