The gluten- and grain-free recipe based on easily digestible herring or quail does not require classic carbohydrate sources such as rice or potato, but instead relies on quinoa. The dry food also contains only one source of animal protein.
Quinoa is an excellent source of essential amino acids such as lysine, tryptophan and cystine and provides polyunsaturated fatty acids. Quinoa also has a very high mineral content. Magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium in particular occur naturally in this so-called pseudo-cereal. Coconut is also rich in minerals especially magnesium, iron, sodium and selenium as well as B vitamins. Turmeric is considered energising and purifying. In Ayurvedic medicine, the yellow spice is mainly used to strengthen the body's defences. The combination of selected ingredients ensures a shiny and healthy coat.
