Farmina Vetlife Cardiac dry food has been developed to support heart function in cases of chronic heart failure.

The dog food regulates myocardial contraction by maintaining the correct electrolyte balance. This helps to counteract any imbalances resulting from diuretic therapy. The taurine it contains modulates myocardial contraction, whilst carnitine increases exercise tolerance.
The adjusted (reduced) sodium content of the food prevents high blood pressure by reducing cardiac stress. Fluid retention caused by congestive heart failure is thus also reduced.

The essential omega-3 fatty acids have an antiarrhythmic effect and modulate cytokine production. This results in an anti-inflammatory effect.

Pathologically induced anorexia is prevented by high-quality ingredients.
