Recommended feeding duration: Initially up to 3 months. Feed the product as is, according to the daily amount indicated in the table. The daily amount indicated in the accompanying table is only a guideline and should be adjusted to achieve the correct body weight. The daily amount may change depending on breed, environment, physical activity, temperament and body condition. The ration may be divided into two or more meals. Farmina VetLife – Joint dietary food supports joint metabolism in dogs with osteoarthritis.

An increased content of chondroitin and glucosamine not only has an anti-inflammatory effect, but also supports collagen synthesis, which promotes the regeneration of joint cartilage and regulates the composition of synovial fluid. The anti-inflammatory effect is further enhanced by omega-3 essential fatty acids. This is beneficial in the treatment of joint conditions.

Maintaining an optimal weight is particularly important for dogs with osteoarthritis and other joint problems. VetLife Joint provides a quick feeling of fullness thanks to its soluble and insoluble dietary fibre. The low calorie density helps overweight dogs to lose weight or maintain their ideal weight, thereby relieving pressure on the joints.

The proteins used are of particularly high biological value. They ensure the proper development of lean body mass. These are supported by L-carnitine (for efficient muscle metabolism) and taurine (for muscle contractility).
