Recommended feeding duration: up to 6 months for reduction of oxalic stone formation, up to 6 months for irreversible disturbance of uric acid metabolism, lifelong for reduction of urate stone formation, initially up to 1 year for reduction of cystine stone formation. Feed the product as is, according to the daily amount indicated in the table. The daily amount given in the accompanying table is only a guideline and should be adjusted to achieve the correct body weight. The daily amount may change depending on breed, environment, physical activity, temperament and body condition. The ration may be divided into two or more meals. It is recommended to mix this product first with the previously used feeds. Offer water for free disposal.

The Farmina VetLife diet dry food - Oxalate reduces the formation of oxalate, urate and cystine stones.

The urine is alkalised using potassium citrate (basic pH). The protein content of the food is reduced and comes exclusively from eggs and hydrolysed animal proteins, which reduces the formation of cystine and urate crystals. The formation of urates is also reduced by lowering the nucleic acid content. A moderate calcium and phosphorus content limits the formation of oxalate stones.
