Recommended feeding duration: initially up to 6 months in chronic renal failure; two to four weeks in transient renal failure. Feed the product as is, according to the daily amount indicated in the table. The daily amount given in the accompanying table is only a guide and should be adjusted to achieve the correct body weight. The daily amount may change depending on breed, environment, physical activity, temperament and body condition. The ration may be divided into two or more meals. It is recommended to mix this product first with the previously used feeds. Offer water for free disposal.

Farmina VetLife - Renal dry food supports kidney function in cases of chronic or acute renal failure.

A reduced protein level helps to limit the accumulation of nitrogenous waste products. The high-quality protein is derived exclusively from eggs and hydrolysed fish protein. A reduced sodium level helps to prevent high blood pressure, whilst reduced phosphorus levels contribute to the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism.
The essential omega-3 fatty acids contained in the food can have an anti-inflammatory effect and help maintain renal perfusion.
