The Hurtta ECO adjustable lead is a sustainable, reflective all-round lead made from recycled polyester, which impresses with its practical features, high level of safety and comfortable handling.

The practical all-round lead made from 80–100 per cent recycled materials!

The dog lead is adjustable from 120–180 cm using a high-quality stainless steel slider and is 2 cm wide. The comfortable, neoprene-padded hand strap ensures a great feel when walking your dog. Even if your dog pulls a little harder, the lead won’t dig in. Another great feature is the small pocket under the neoprene padding, where you can store items such as poo bags, ensuring they’re always to hand when you need them.

The webbing on this lead is made from 100% recycled polyester. An additional handle just before the carabiner ensures you can safely keep the dog on a short lead in tricky situations.

For improved safety and visibility during evening walks, a reflective strip is sewn along the entire length of the lead. This not only protects the dog, but also ensures that the owner is seen more clearly and sooner by other road users.

The lead is fitted with a lightweight yet extremely robust aluminium carabiner featuring a swivel joint. This ensures that the lead does not twist, even if the dog changes position frequently.

Naturally, all materials comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and are therefore safe and non-toxic for both humans and animals. The tensile strength has also been tested in accordance with the ISO standard.

How do I look after my lead properly?

The lead should only be hand-washed with similar colours. It is not suitable for the tumble dryer and should be air-dried after washing.

Tips on how to recycle correctly:

The cardboard and plastic from the packaging should be disposed of in the designated bin. If you no longer have any use for the lead, why not simply give it to a dog-loving friend?
Let your creativity run wild and use the elastic band from the packaging, for example, to make hair ties. With a bit of skill, you can conjure up some really great new products from the old webbing.
Use the lead for as long as possible and repair it rather than throwing it away straight away.
