This classic lead for canicross runs has been specially developed for small and medium-sized dogs. It consists of a slightly narrower webbing and a softer shock absorber. Like all other leads in the Black Ones series, it has a perfect length ratio from the unstretched to the stretched state and a defined resistance to jerky movements. Depending on requirements, the line can be used at 1.7 or 2 metres when stretched. Experienced runners generally prefer the shorter lead.

The CaniX lead has a hand loop directly behind the aluminium carabiner, which can be used to keep the dog short - for example in the starting area.
The carabiner on this lead is made of sturdy yet very light aluminium in black or red. A swivel ensures that the lead does not twist.

For optimum safety, the lead is interwoven with reflective strips. This increases safety in poor lighting conditions.

Please note that the Sledwork® aluminium snap hooks with swivel are not VDSV (IFSS) approved.
