After operations (e.g. castration) or wounds, it is important to protect the operated or sore area from licking and dirt. The surgical body can also be used to prevent irritated skin from being licked.
The soft, stretchy lick protection, which can be adjusted using the Velcro fastener and drawstring, prevents the dog from coming into direct contact with its surgical suture. This significantly speeds up the healing process. The wound can heal well under the dog body as it is particularly breathable.
Male dogs in particular need to roll up the back of the bodysuit to urinate. To do this, simply open the Velcro fastener on the belly and attach the rolled-up lick guard to the Velcro fastener on the back. There is also a slit for attaching the lead, so the dog bodysuit can remain on the dog when out walking.

The cotton and elastane body can be machine washed at 60 degrees to keep it hygienically clean.
The lick guard is available in 9 sizes. To determine the right size for your dog, please measure the length of the back from the shoulders to the base of the tail.

Important note:
Never leave your pet unattended after an operation. Please check the wound regularly and contact your vet if redness or swelling occurs.
Despite the surgical body, the dog can reach the wound with some skill. If you are unable to supervise the dog, use an additional neck collar.
