The PAIKKA Slow Feed Bowl supports healthy, slow feed intake and at the same time ensures freshness in the bowl thanks to its self-cooling ceramic.

Size

Some dogs love their food so much that they literally gobble it up. This can put a lot of strain on their digestion and, in the worst case, lead to flatulence and diarrhoea.

On the other hand, there are dogs that have little interest in the food on offer. Both can have a massive impact on the quality of life of both dog and owner.

Paikka's Slow Feed bowl forces the dog to eat around a 3D shape, preventing it from gulping down the food and encouraging it to eat slowly. Chewing the food also has a positive effect on dental hygiene.
The special shape can stimulate interest in food in dogs that eat poorly, as the dog has to work for its food.

Like the Cool Bowl, the Slow Feed bowls are made of patented, self-cooling ceramic material. To activate the cooling effect, simply immerse the bowl in water for 45 seconds. This not only helps to keep the food cool, it can even reduce bacterial growth.
