Size

The size should be chosen according to the normal jacket size of the dog. It does not reach all the way to the base of the tail. The dimensions represent the maximum. The neck and chest strap can be adjusted smaller.

When should a larger size be chosen?

When the vest should reach to the base of the tail. If the dog belongs to a very beefy breed, attention should be paid to the neck circumference, since the vest is pulled over the head. In this case, a larger size may be necessary.

We all love summer, but it also harbours dangers for our dogs. When it's particularly hot, dogs can overheat. In addition, mosquitoes and ticks are in high season at this time of year.

The material of the waistcoat can absorb water very well and thus keeps the four-legged friend cool through evaporation - even over a longer period of time! This can help to protect the animal from overheating and prevent a dangerous heat stroke.

The waistcoat is also treated with Repeltec. This reduces both stings and infestation with pests. The zebra colouring is not just a visual highlight - studies have shown that the black and white colouring alone is effective against certain mosquitoes.

The Cool & Bug Vest can easily be put on over a chest harness, as it has a canvas opening with a zip.

How does the cooling effect of the jacket work?

The waistcoat must be soaked in cold water before use. Then simply squeeze out the excess water carefully and the waistcoat is ready for use.

The cooling vest is particularly easy to use. It is pulled over the dog's head and fastened with an adjustable strap under the belly with a click buckle. The neck area is also adjustable and can therefore be optimally adapted to the dog's body.

Safety information:
