Scruffs ECO mattresses are made from 100% recycled materials, both the cover fabrics and the filling fibres. This not only protects our environment but also ensures a low_{CO2 footprint}.
The lying surface of the dog mattress is made of cosy, soft, dark grey fleece fabric. The dog cushion has the best cushioning, elasticity and insulation properties thanks to the high-quality, ecological filling fibres.
The underside of the eco dog mattress is covered with non-slip fabric for more safety on smooth floors.
The filling is sewn to the cover for better stability and durability. This means the mattress retains its shape even in the washing machine. The bed is washable at 30°C.

How Scruffs Eco beds are produced:

1. Plastic bottles (PET) are collected.
2. Caps and labels are removed, the bottles are washed and sanitised.
3. The plastic bottles are then cut into flakes and melted. This raw material can then be converted into many different qualities of fibre to produce 100% recycled fibre filling and fabric. This reduces the environmental impact and protects natural resources. The manufacturing process also releases significantly less_CO2 than conventional methods.
