The SureFlap® cat flap has been developed to give cats easy access to the outside and at the same time prevent other animals from entering the house. Unlike other cat flaps, cats do not have to wear a collar. Access is made possible by an implanted microchip. The cat flap can be registered to the common 15-digit European standard chips. Programming is very easy at the touch of a button and up to 32 chip numbers can be stored. The cat flap is battery-operated (4x AA batteries - not included) with a very long battery life of up to 1 year. An indicator shows when the battery is low so that the batteries can be changed in good time.

The cat flap is also equipped with a 4-way system that allows you to manually restrict entry and exit.

Based on a personal experience in 2005, Dr Nick Hill developed the Sure Flap. After strange cats got into his house through the cat flap and terrorised his cat, he needed a practical solution. However, he was not happy with the collar option, so he decided to develop a cat flap that could be opened using an implanted microchip. After three years of research and development, the SureFlap was ready for sale in 2008. In 2017, SureFlap®became the new brand Sure Petcare®. But even if the name is now different - the quality remains the same!
