As soon as your dog or cat approaches the pet flap, the device scans and recognises the microchip or collar tag and opens only for that animal. The new microchip-controlled pet flap is the first of its kind to be specially designed to meet the needs of both larger cat breeds, such as Maine Coons, and smaller dog breeds, such as Terriers.

The dog and cat flap works with any standard European microchip (15 digits) or the SurdeFlap RFID collar tag. One tag is included, others can be ordered separately. The flap can be registered to up to 32 chips and is therefore also ideal for multi-pet households.

It is also possible to programme individual entry and exit times. A double locking mechanism ensures optimum protection against unwanted intruders.

The pet flap is battery-operated (4x LR14). The battery life is 6-12 months depending on the frequency of use. It can be installed in windows, doors and walls. A separate glass pane adapter is required for window installation. Please consult a glazier for installation!
