Dietary complete food for dogs
The N&D wet food line combines a careful selection of high-quality, locally sourced fresh meat, fish and fruit ingredients. The technology is the result of knowledge and passion for carnivore nutrition.
The experience gained by the Farmina Vet research team in studying the nutritional needs of dogs led to the development of a wet food that is nutritionally complete.
All foods are formulated without genetically modified organisms, colourings or artificial preservatives. Only high quality, wholesome ingredients from selected local producers are used: Free-range chicken from Italy, wild boar from Tuscany and Umbria, grass-fed lamb, quail from Europe, venison from Europe, duck from Europe, free-range chicken eggs from Italy, sustainably produced fish from Europe, organic quinoa from Italy, pumpkin from Italy, regionally sourced fruits and vegetables from Italy and France
Traditionally, wet food is made using a two-step cooking process. This can affect the nutritional value of the food. Instead, Farmina uses a one-step gentle steaming technology for wet food to preserve the natural components of the ingredients. Furthermore, the wet food is free from guar, xanthan gum, cassia, all industrial gums and carrageenan.
Farmina respects the environment and your pet's well-being by using only fully recyclable cans that contain no BPA.
The N&D Quinoa line is a new functional product line from Farmina to support and restore the well-being of dogs with specific nutritional needs. The wet food is grain-free and contains proteins of animal origin from innovative sources.
Quinoa provides excellent nutritional properties:
- promotes and supports digestion
- rich in essential amino acids and natural antioxidants
- low glycaemic index
- gluten-free
- particularly rich in nutrients
- Organic product from Italy
N&D Quinoa Digestion Adult Mini is a highly digestible wet food - especially for small breed dogs with digestive disorders or exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The gluten- and grain-free recipe based on easily digestible lamb and herring does without classic carbohydrate carriers such as rice or potato, but instead relies on quinoa.
Quinoa is an excellent source of essential amino acids such as lysine, tryptophan or cystine and provides polyunsaturated fatty acids. In addition, quinoa has a very high content of minerals. Especially magnesium, iron, potassium and calcium occur naturally in this so-called pseudo-cereal. The artichokes contained sare good for gastrointestinal complaints. They also lower cholesterol and improve fat digestion. Fennel is rich in vitamins A, K, E, folic acid and beta-carotene and has a particularly high vitamin C and iron content. It can have a digestive and antispasmodic effect. Chondroitin and glucosamine support joints, tendons and cartilage.
