Feeding recommendation

Note: It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before using or extending the duration of use.

Recommended feeding duration: 1-2 weeks to alleviate acute intestinal absorption disorders; 3-12 weeks as compensationin case of insufficient digestion, in case of chronic insufficiency of the pancreas for life. Feed the product according to the daily amount indicated in the table. The daily amount indicated in the attached table is only a guideline and should be adjusted to achieve the correct body weight. The daily amount may change depending on breed, environment, physical activity, temperament and body condition. The ration may be divided into two or more meals. It is recommended that this product first be mixed with the feed previously used. Offer water for free disposal. Once the can is opened, store in the refrigerator and consume within 48 hours.

The gluten-free and grain-free wet food Farmina Vetlife Gastrointestinal was developed to reduce acute intestinal absorption disorders. It can be used in cases of acute diarrhoea or during recovery from acute diarrhoea and to compensate for faulty digestion. Gastrointestinal is also the right choice for dogs with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

The high quality of the ingredients and the very good digestibility optimise the absorption and utilisation of the nutrients. Omega 3 fatty acids have an anti-inflammatory effect and therefore protect the intestinal mucosa. The high-quality ingredients, FOS, MOS and other prebiotics, essential fatty acids and natural antioxidants promote the restoration of intestinal health.

The low fat content relieves digestion and thus supports the pancreas in exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Vitamins and electrolytes support the restoration of intestinal balance after prolonged diarrhoea.
