Feeding recommendation

The Farmina VetLife - Struvite Cat Adult veterinary diet induces the dissolution of struvite stones in cats and reduces their formation.

Struvite has an acidifying effect on the urine due to calcium sulphate. The pH value of the urine is lowered, which favours the dissolution of crystals. A reduced gastric silicon content limits the formation of struvite stones.
The low calcium and phosphorus content of the grain-free and gluten-free wet food for cats helps to control phosphataemia and inhibits the formation of urinary stones (uroliths).
The reduced protein content of the chicken/fish-based recipe with sweet potato & quinoa helps to reduce the urea content in the urine.

The new Farmina"Vet Life Natural Diet" line is a natural nutritional solution for the well-being of cats. It is revolutionary because it is the first purely natural diet. The line was developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Nutrition at the University of Naples, with nature as the guiding principle of Farmina's philosophy.

Vet Life veterinary diets are adapted to the physiology of cats and have the following characteristics:

  • without genetically modified ingredients
  • No cereals in many varieties
  • selected recipes with ancient grains (spelt and oats) or quinoa
  • low glycaemic index - gentle regulation of the blood sugar level
  • without BPA
  • gentle cooking method
  • Respect as a principle of our scientific research
