XXL Ostrich Bone – an extra-large, low-fat chew for hours of chewing fun 

For dogs who love to really get stuck into their chews: the XXL Ostrich Bone is a particularly large chew made from 100% dried ostrich bone and provides long-lasting chewing fun. Tendons, as well as traces of meat and cartilage on the bone, make it particularly tasty and ensure that there is always something new to discover as your dog chews away at it.

Ostrich bones are comparatively light compared to many bones from other animal species. Chewing causes mechanical abrasion on the tooth surfaces, which can help remove plaque and support natural tooth cleaning. At the same time, the large bone provides intensive stimulation for dogs with a strong urge to chew. 

The XXL ostrich bone is particularly high in protein whilst being low in fat. This makes it well-suited for dogs whose treats need to be low in fat. As it contains only ostrich, this is a single-protein chew that is also suitable for dogs prone to intolerances or for whom other animal protein sources are to be deliberately avoided. 

The bone is also grain- and gluten-free and is gently dried without any further additives. The gentle drying process preserves the original character of the ostrich bone and makes it a special alternative to traditional chews made from beef or lamb. Important note:
The ostrich bone is intended as a chew toy and should not be eaten whole in one go. Consuming large quantities of bone can lead to the passage of bone fragments in the stool or even severe blockages. Please supervise your dog whilst chewing and remove any remaining small pieces in good time.
