Product description

Bird sand serves as hygienic bedding for budgerigars, and the sand also promotes digestion and the health of your birds. Quartz sand is an important source for the metabolism and bird sand is even needed for plumage care.

If the floor of the bird cage is littered with bird sand, it binds the liquid in the droppings. The sand is therefore important for hygiene when keeping birds.

Application:

Bird sand can be used in the traditional way as bedding. To do this, the cage floor is covered with a 1 - 2 cm thick layer of sand.

The birds only have the opportunity to search for food on the floor and pick up pebble crumbs.
