The BRENDA running trousers combine elegant design with a high level of comfort, provide reliable protection against stains and are lightweight, washable and quick-drying thanks to the breathable fabric.

Size

The practical BRENDA running trousers are made for female dogs in the heat. They protect furniture, textiles and carpets from unwanted stains. These trousers also offer protection against soiling from urine stains in the event of incontinence.
The BRENDA protective trousers are both stylish and elegant, with a wide waistband and Velcro fastening. The BRENDA protective pants offer your beloved four-legged friend a high level of comfort and are pleasantly light.
The hygienic pants can be opened on both sides and are therefore easy to put on. Both rods with long fur and rods with short fur can be comfortably accommodated in the rod recess.
Of course, the heat trousers are washable at 30° and made from quick-drying softshell material.

Tips for use:

  • Get your dog used to the protective trousers before the first heat.
  • Place a disposable sanitary towel or a paper towel in the inside pocket.
  • Open the Velcro tape on both sides to put them on.
  • Place the tail in the recess.
  • Now close the Velcro fastener at the waist.

Note:

Please remember to change the lining of the dog trousers regularly.

What does heat mean?

The heat of female dog is also known as the heat period and is the fertile phase (oestrus phase) of the sexual cycle. From the first heat, the dog is sexually mature. This point in time depends on the breed of the bitch.
The first signs of the heat period are an increasing need to mark and an increased interest in the scent marks of other dogs. The urine of a female dog signals to the male dog that it is the right time to mate. Depending on female dog, this is around the 7-21 day of heat.
The heat usually lasts 3 - 4 weeks and repeats after 6 - 8 months, depending on the dog and breed. The heat phase lasts into old age, but usually becomes weaker and less frequent.
