To reduce recurrences of struvite stones

Kattovit Urinary diet food has been specially developed for cats with a tendency to form urinary stones (struvite). Struvite crystals occur mainly in urine that is too alkaline. Kattovit Urinary has a slightly acidifying effect, which should inhibit precipitation of the crystals. The composition of this special food was chosen so that the urine has a pH value of 6.4 and is therefore in the acidic range.

A reduced mineral content (especially magnesium) is intended to protect the cat from renewed crystal formation. DL-methionine and calcium sulphate ensure that the urine is slightly acidified.

Good water intake is also important for problems with the lower urinary tract. Kattovit wet food contributes to this. It goes without saying that this special food provides your cat with all the important nutrients, vitamins and minerals, even if the food is given over a longer period of time.

A very high level of acceptance is achieved through fine pieces of chicken with a little beef.
