The Hi & Light™ dog booties are the lightest shoe variant from Ruffwear. Minimalist design paired with functionality and comfort make this bootie stand out.

The knitted upper material is breathable, soft and reliably protects the dog's paws against stones or other things that could injure them. The flexible rubber outsole ensures optimum ground feel and a secure grip on the ground.

The shoe can be opened wide to make it easier to put on. The Velcro fastener is then used to adjust the dog walking boot to the size of the dog's leg. The shoe should be fastened tightly so that it does not slip or get lost while walking. The correct fit should be checked after a few minutes of wear and then regularly during breaks from walking!

To improve safety and visibility in the dark, the shoe is fitted with reflective elements.

Helpful tips on the subject of dog shoes:

To choose the right size, stand the dog on a white sheet of paper so that it puts weight on its paw. Make a mark to the right and left of the paw at the widest point and then measure the width between the marks with a ruler.
Measure both front and back paws, as they are usually different sizes. Front paws are usually slightly larger.
Give your dog some time to get used to the shoes when wearing them for the first time. Most dogs don't want to put their paws on the ground for the time being. Don't laugh at your dog - as funny as it looks - but motivate him with treats or toys to keep walking.
The shoe fits particularly well - as with us humans - if the dog is wearing socks underneath. The boot liners are ideal for this.
