cdVet VeaVet PlasterSpray – a breathable protective film for stressed animal skin

Minor grazes and superficial skin irritation can easily occur in active dogs and cats. Once applied, cdVet VeaVet PlasterSpray forms a thin, breathable protective film on the skin. This shields the treated area from external factors such as dirt and moisture and makes skin care straightforward, whether at home or on the go.

Which areas of skin is PlasterSpray suitable for?

This liquid care product is designed for minor, superficial grazes as well as sensitive and stressed areas of skin. The spray function allows for hygienic application without having to touch the affected area unnecessarily. It can also be used to treat hard-to-reach areas with precision.

What are the main ingredients in the formula?

The formula contains dragon’s blood, a natural tree resin that forms a fine protective film on the skin’s surface as it dries. Propolis complements the formulation and is traditionally used to care for stressed and irritated skin.
The spray dries quickly after application and leaves a protective layer without completely sealing the skin.

How is VeaVet PlasterSpray used?

Shake the bottle before use and gently clean the affected area of skin. Then spray the plaster evenly from a distance of about 10–15 cm. Depending on the skin’s needs, the treatment can be repeated several times a day. Allow the applied film to dry completely and, whilst it is drying, avoid friction or the animal licking it.

When should the affected area be examined by a vet?

VeaVet PlasterSpray is a care product and is not a substitute for veterinary care. Deep, gaping, heavily bleeding, soiled, weeping or clearly inflamed wounds should be assessed by a vet. This also applies in cases of severe pain, foreign bodies, bite wounds or if the condition of the affected area worsens.

Available sizes: 20ml & 100ml
